hello all, i'm not sure that i am in the right place but i guess someone will know how to help me,, i hope..

I recorded a video on a hd camcorder, it saves the files as mov. files, i want to burn this onto a dvd, but i want to edit the movie so it looks nice, any i have premier pro 6.5 and although it says mov. files are supported it never imports them. so with the program i got with the camcorder (presto video works 6)i can convert the files to avi, (i was thinking i could then edit these in premier pro, however i have say 4 mov. files, now the biggest mov. file is 477mb yet when it is converted it goes to 76.6gb!! how and why does it do this? i dont want to lose any quality other wise it would be pointless using a hd camcorder? can anyone help?

Jennifer

Hi Maggie & Family! I've never met you but have been following your story for months and praying for you every day. I hope you come home soon and can put this all behind you.

Jennifer Firth, LPN

Hi Maggie and Family! I just wanted to let you know we're thinking about you and hope you are able to come home soon!

Concerned and speechless!

I find it so sad that this poor mother had to write a message to ask people to leave "nice" comments on her daughter's site. This poor baby is fighting for her life and there is someone who leaves indecent messages or messages that have no meaning. Please stop!

Brittany

PLEASE COME HOME!!! I miss you all so much!

Love you,

Missy Britt

Joi Ridgell

This is Maggie's Mom and I am writing to remind people that this guest book is to leave comments of encouragement regarding my daughter's medical issues. Unfortunately, there seems to be a very rude person who is leaving comments on our guest book that are not appropriate. We have been removing them and they keep posting new ones. I cannot for the life of me understand why someone would be so insensitive to do such a thing, but I ask that anyone who visits my daughter's website and guest book only leave a message of support for my daughter, our family or the campaign and nothing else. Thank you!

Heather and Emma

We are praying that no news is good news on your end!! Hope you had a Merry Christmas. You have lots to be thankful for this coming New Years.
Hugs, Heather and Emma

Maggie is a patient of mine, I work for Interim Health Care, CHKD, recommended Interim to Maggie's Mom and Dad.
I went to meet Maggie and her family to see if we all would be a good fit, I met Maggie, Mom, Dad, and Grammy. What a wonderfull family I thought to myself, they all care sooo much about Maggie, not just in thier hearts but in thier deeds. They are all very active in Maggies care, they had to be for one, they thought they only had each other. I knew right off when I met Maggie and her family that the fit was perfect for me and I hoped they felt the same. I also thought, I had a tough job ahead of me, Mom, Dad, and Grammy were so used to having to do it all alone, that they would have to learn to learn to hand over the care of Maggie to a complete stranger. Well! They opened up thier home and welcomed me as I was one of the family, and I feel that way today. Maggie is a very special girl, tiny? Yes. Big heart? Yes, she is one of the happiest charecters I have ever met. What personality! I have to say she is one of God's brightest stars I have ever met. Maggie desperately needs help though. Her condition is very serious, and God willing the financial end will be met by the generousity of friends, family, and complete stangers alike. I can't say enough about this family, despite the stress of having a child with a serious medical condition, they are very loving, positive and so hopeful that all goals for Maggie will be met, both physical and financial. This little girl has captured my heart, and should you have the good fortune to meet her, she will capture yours also, because that is what Maggie does.

"Aunt Titta"

Hey chicklet!! I had a BLAST with you Sunday! You really have that walker down pat! The sheer joy and delight in your eyes shone through! Once Daddy gets your backpack hooked up to it, you'll be ready to roll....put it on cruise control and you're "gone baby gone"!! Don't forget the speed bumps (walls, doors, etc). Love you Maggie, see you soon!

Heather and Emma

Hi! We were thinking about you this week. And wanted to come see how things are going. We miss you at August Beach Babies! You are always in our prayers.

I look forward to seeing you real soon now that Aunt Kathy and Uncle Norman have loaned their car to me from "McIntosh Motors"!! Their hearts are as big as yours!! I miss our strolls around the neighborhood. Get well soon so we can continue our "nature walks". Love you Maggie-nolia!!

The Brave Little Soul
By: John Alessi

Not too long ago in Heaven there was a little soul who took wonder in observing the world. She especially enjoyed the love she saw there and often expressed this joy with God. One day however the little soul was sad, for on this day she saw suffering in the world. She approached God and sadly asked, “Why do bad things happen; why is there suffering in the world?” God paused for a moment and replied, "Little soul, do not be sad, for the suffering you see, unlocks the love in people’s hearts.” The little soul was confused. “What do you mean?” she asked. God replied, “Have you not noticed the goodness and love that are the offspring of suffering? Look at how people come together and show their love and compassion for those who suffer."

The little soul began to understand and listened attentively as God continued, “A suffering soul can unlock the love in people’s hearts much like the sun and the rain unlock the flower within the seed. I created everyone with endless love in their heart, but unfortunately most people keep it locked up and hardly share it with anyone. They are afraid to let their love shine freely, because they are afraid of being hurt. But a suffering soul unlocks that love. I tell you this - it is one of the greatest miracles of all. Many souls have bravely chosen to go into the world and suffer - to unlock this love – to create this miracle - for the good of all humanity."

Just then the little soul got a wonderful idea and could hardly contain herself. With her wings fluttering, bouncing up and down, the little soul excitedly replied, "I am brave; let me go! I would like to go into the world and suffer so that I can unlock the goodness and love in people’s hearts! I want to create that miracle!" God smiled and said, "You are a brave soul I know, and thus I will grant your request. But even though you are very brave you will not be able to do this alone. I have known since the beginning of time that you would ask for this and so I have carefully selected many souls to care for you on your journey. Those souls will help you create your miracle; however they will also share in your suffering. Two of these souls are most special and will care for you, help you and suffer along with you, far beyond the others. They have already chosen a name for you." God and the brave little soul shared a smile, and then embraced.

In parting, God said, “Do not forget little soul that I will be with you always. Although you have agreed to bear the pain, you will do so through My strength. And if the time should come when you feel that you have suffered enough, just say the word, think the thought, and you will be healed.”

Thus at that moment the brave little soul was born into the world, and through her suffering and God’s strength, she unlocked the goodness and love in the hearts of all who knew her. Many people came together to show their love. Priorities became properly aligned. People gave from their hearts. Many began new spiritual journeys, or regained lost faith. Parents hugged their children tighter. Friends and family grew closer. Lives changed forever. It was good. The world was a better place. The miracle had happened. And God was pleased.
